| David Baria is a Business Development Specialist who works with businesses in Lewis County as part of the SBDC partnership with the Lewis County Economic Development Council. David joined the EDC in 2001 after over 20 years working in industry. His SBDC clients appreciate his rich background in manufacturing and purchasing and strong analytical skills. In addition to his 8 years as an SBDC counselor, he has also worked with Washington Manufacturing Services to include counseling related to Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9000 Quality programs. David has worked as a Purchasing Manager for a large manufacturing company and as a sales representative for a major steel service center. He has also been self-employed in building and landscaping. David has a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Disaster Management and Emergency Administration from The University of North Texas. David is housed in the Lewis County EDC offices in Chehalis. This location allows him to access a wide variety of resources in Lewis County and to provide a complete range of services to clients. Areas of Specialization: Manufacturing Issues.
